Allison Kelly is a published freelance writer and editor living in Los Angeles.
Allison is a lifelong writer who grew up scribbling stories in notebooks and on those clunky teal Apple iMacs in elementary school, and she never looked back.
Born and raised in L.A., she’s been obsessed with Hollywood from a young age. She attended USC film school, majoring in Cinema and Media Studies and minoring in screenwriting. After that, she spent a year working at WME, before jumping out to work in documentary and scripted film & television at Campfire Studios. She’s a voracious reader, who’s been writing novels ever since she discovered National Novel Writing Month in fifth grade. She has two published short stories, a published personal essay, and her scripts have placed in multiple screenwriting competitions.
Currently, Allison is a freelance writer and editor, who loves working with clients to refine and elevate their stories. Let’s talk structure, characters, and big themes! Every word matters — I’d love to hear yours!
